Wheel Alignment Problems - Best Auto Repair Experience Service Tip

Your car might have an alignment problem if it drifts or pulls to one side, the steering wheel is off center, have uneven tire wear or the car just doesn't feel like it handles right. Commonly running into potholes around Cartersville, smacking a curb or hitting other objects in the roadway, are all great ways to knock your car out of alignment. Then, one or more of your wheels starts pulling in a slightly different direction and the problems begin. Don't worry, it just means you need to get the alignment checked. There are several things involved in performing an alignment at Best Auto Repair Experience. First, there's an inspection of the steering and suspension systems - these components should be checked to see if anything's bent, broken or possible worn. Then the tire condition needs to be inspected. From there, the vehicle is put on an alignment rack and an initial alignment reading is taken. If the vehicle's ... read more

Tow Safely in Cartersville, Georgia

Towing in Cartersville, drivers figure that anything they can attach to their trailer hitch can be towed by their vehicle. This is not the case. If you're going to do any towing, you should be aware of safety issues, Georgia towing laws and the potential liability. Understanding tow ratings is important for safe towing. A tow rating is the weight limit that your vehicle can safely tow. Manufacturers calculate the tow rating for every vehicle, but different options on the vehicle can affect that rating. Drivers need to read the towing section in their owner's manual to get the specific tow rating for the vehicle they own. Your trailer hitch also has a weight limit, and it may not match the tow rating for your vehicle. Your vehicle may be rated for 10,000 pounds (4,500 kg) but if you have a 2,000-pound (900 kg) hitch limit you shouldn't be towing more than 2,000 pounds (900 kg). If you tow a 10,000-pound (4,500 kg) trailer on that hitch, it could bre ... read more

Let's talk service! When is it important?

Today's Best Experience blog we're going to talk about following recommended service intervals. Your vehicle isn't the only aspect of your life with recommended intervals. Let's start with twice yearly dental check-ups, regular physical exams and how about the laundry, watering the lawn and paying the bills? Now, what would happen if you didn't follow these intervals? Well, you'd get more cavities, may not discover health conditions that could be more effectively treated with early detection, and you'd have to wear dirty clothes, be embarrassed by your brown lawn and have your utilities shut off. Clearly, there are some things in life that we have to take care of regularly. If we don't, there are negative consequences. Our quality of life, here in Cartersville, takes a hit and it inevitably costs ... read more
